Amid the news about NewJeans announcing its contract termination, ADOR filed a lawsuit against them to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract.
To this, the members refuted the legal action taken by ADOR.
Our trust in ADOR and HYBE has already collapsed. They have failed to fulfill their obligation to protect the artists properly and have repeatedly violated the terms of the contract. As stated in the contract, we no longer have any reason to work with ADOR and HYBE.

NewJeans Refutes Legal Action Taken By ADOR Regarding Termination Of Contract
Most recently, an ADOR staff member claimed they were harassed by the company following the termination.
According to Channel A News, NewJeans’ manager “A” has also accused ADOR CEO Ju Young Kim of workplace bullying.
“1. The lured me into thinking we had a business negotiation then suddenly gave me a standby notice and demanded that I return my laptop from home immediately. Despite requesting to leave work, they illegally confined me for about three hours until the laptop was returned. (Violation of Article 7 of the Labor Standards Act, workplace bullying).
2. Forced me to submit my personal cell phone without any legal grounds. (workplace bullying).
3. I backed up all the work-related data online to the company drive and only had personal data left on my laptop. Even though I formatted my laptop, they started an investigation, saying they would use this as grounds for disciplinary action because I formatted it (workplace bullying).”
To this, ADOR responded, “We haven’t received any information regarding this. We will faithfully respond if we receive notification about an investigation.”
