Actor Nam Goong Min revealed that his wife had rejected him several times.
Recently, the actor appeared on a popular YouTube show. On this day, the actor spoke about how he and his wife, actress Jin Ah Reum, became partners. According to the actor, he met his wife through serendipity.
First of all, I’ve never revealed this story before. I was supposed to fly to China to shoot a movie but the lead actress was injured and so filming was pushed back 2 months. I thought about what I should do for the 2 months so I decided to film a movie I had written a scenario for.
I got the staff together and filmed the movie out of pocket. There was one woman character who didn’t have any lines. She seemed like a model, that was Jin Ah Reum. We never spoke while filming. I got her number from a friend. She was shocked when I called her.

The actor then revealed that he had originally been rejected several times by Jin Ah Reum and that he had planned on moving on before the actress accepted his feelings.
I have no skills when it comes to dating as I was often too honest. I do well when I’m silent but I have to express my feelings, but I’ve heard that when someone constantly tells you that they like you, you eventually lose feelings. She, too, told me that she didn’t like me. Then, before going to China, I asked her to meet me one more time. That night, she rejected me again.
I’m the type to move on if I’m rejected but while passing through immigration after my flight I received a long text from her. She told me that she rejected me because I was rushing things and that she felt I was being too much. We then met after I returned to Korea. It took a while after I returned that we started dating. One day when I dropped her off, she offered to go grab a beer together. While grabbing a drink I then asked her to be my girlfriend. She wasn’t very happy though and told me I should’ve asked her earlier.
